2026 WEDDINGS WILL LOOK LIKE THIS

Let's peak into the future wedding trends

No, it’s not too early. Given that weddings are planned with an advance of at least 9 to12 months, and shopping for ideas doesn’t even count in the planning, make sure that you take all the excitement that you need from these 2026 wedding trends.

We have recruited our very own team of stylists, designers and planners to compose a confidential forecast with the top trends taking the stage, and soon becoming big hits.

Dig out your wedding style from the predictions that follow.

Wedding table décor

Make your table shine

We have seen wedding tables being featured in photo albums as much as the guests themselves. Big reason to plan ahead on how the final décor will look like when all the centerpieces and dinner sets will be laid out. Tablescapes speak loudly about your wedding feeling and the statement you wish to make on the day.

What do we expect from destination weddings in Italy in 2026 that you need to keep an eye out for?

Vertical design

Dutch masters florals

Floral designers have decisively exhausted the leveled inspiration, that's why they are now aiming for the stars. Wild and bountiful: your vision for the floral decorations on the reception table(s) will be guided by imperfect proportions, mismatched elements and an intended amount of asymmetric composites. Tone on tone palettes and subtle warm neutrals will be preferred to the dark, gloomy Dutch keynotes we are all so familiar with. Trust us when we say, your centerpieces will be talked about for many moons to come.

Texturise your setup

Patterned linen

How to bring character to your destination wedding design - especially if your flower choice in the white and/or neutral tones is in need of balancing. Patterned linen add texture to your wedding reception décor and are often composite, just like linen runners. They will easily attract those newlyweds looking to work the old glamour vibe into their design, and meet the expectations of a palatial luxury venue. Ask your planner to get you the right catering team for you, and the result will be one to die for.

Statement Stationery

Is statement stationery here to stay?

Our research tells us that we will be seeing a lot more of this in the coming two years. We’re talking about personalised stationery items that are valuing the arts and crafts. Hand-painted with watercolours, caricature or illustrations, these solutions are clearly here to stay. For your Italian destination wedding, nothing speaks more Stile Italiano than having a hand-made, artisanal choice for your stationary.

A trend which we will see increase is the desire to get a personal wedding crest to elevate your couple status, or for some, a wedding logo declaring the couple's strong and durable love.

Wedding signs

 Get creative and personal!

We've picked up a thing or two about wedding signs. Planners nowadays are inviting couples to keep their wedding vision broad and experimental. That's why new textures have been integrated into the inspiration board like glass, mirrors, textiles and art materials.

Three dimensional, interactive, artsy, or just very instagrammable. The new take on wedding signs is here to highlight the couple's branding, with totally customised elements, or a mix of which plays with design elements in a very fresh and sentimental way.

Chairs and setup ideas

Diversifying is the key to the future

This subtle architectural frame requires the thinking of a capable designer mind. As far as chairs go, we have seen over the last two decades an understandably, but overwhelming white, white and white perference. The tide has now shifted even for the more traditional couples, with fiberglass and gold trimming replacing antique textiles, vintage rattan as quiet luxury lounge seating choices.

By diversifying your seating options you'll be offering guests lounge seats and more styled chairs scattered around the venue creating corners for guests to socialise and chill. Trust our visionary team and ask for advice on your chosen or ideal venue options.

What other details will change?

We hope that our tips for the future you got you excited.

Are you picturing yourselves as 2026 trendy brides and grooms? If so, what are you envisioning?
