Get married at Villa Le Fontanelle

For a wedding in the heart of Renaissance Tuscany

Welcome to the wedding story of Sandra and Brendan, two sweet souls who decided that Tuscany was the ideal setting for their romantic day and for 50 of their closest people.

Their gentle manners and pure fun hearts got us quickly charmed and had us say with a certain ease, that helping them realize their wedding plans was as gratifying as it was flawless.

The services needed from us were concentrated on the wedding day, with a symbolic ceremony to stage in one of the most stunning villas of the Tuscan landscape, the aristocratic property of Villa Le Fontanelle. Their needs to be in the vicinity of Florence but sufficiently far-off from the tourist hustle and bustle led us to suggest this quintessential elegance that is Le Fontanelle.

Sandra and Brendan's notes

Sandra and Brendan came to us with a reasonable list of requests that would bless their wedding time with our very  appealing Stile Italiano. Once the booking of the venue and the choice of menu and flowers got on their way, we took our time to sit down and give them enough options that we thought were in line with their thinking, and would fit the style of the venue, too.

For the entertainment of the event, this cute couple couldn't resist to book a professional sketcher onsite who makes sure to portrait the guests and various scenes with watercolours. Our precious artist is favoured because she ensures that the newlyweds leave the site with the portraits packed safely in their suitcase, no anxious waiting for this service.

Another little addition which planned to increase the refined tones of their event was having a vintage gelato cart, this time the choice fell on one of our trusted local suppliers, who offers great quality gelato as well as a charming setup with a very elegant macramé sun umbrella.

And finally, a fun music corner playing swing music- the Italian way to contour the aperitif time following the garden ceremony, the perfect type of entertainment that gets people off their feet.

The five deal breakers for Sandra and Brendan

  • Location: Florence
  • Ceremony: symbolic with their own pastor
  • Venue: with multiple areas for different moments of the day
  • Guests: 50
  • Side notes: only planning and wedding day coordination needed

The action plan

How did we pull it off

Our entire team at WeddingItaly of planners and vendors felt honoured  to be let into the Korean culture by such kind and graceful guests, and be active part of the fun.  Everyone in the group contributed in creating a light atmosphere made of smiles, laughter and pure enjoyment.

Some details of the day have left a particular mark, like the sister of the bride filming around with a Kodak super 8 camera, something that left our photographers in total awe. The flower boy, a real showman entering the scene and walking down the grass aisle like in the movies, throwing flowers with very groovy dance moves.

And let's not forget how lucky we were to have a day with such perfect weather, with an incredible sunset light to ensure the photoshoot could come out golden.

Thank you Sandra and Brendan for letting us help on such an intimate, special occasion.
